Documentary Family Photography
Your family is amazing just the way it is!
What is documentary family photography?
The objective of documentary family photography is to create images that help us remember what we felt at that time, telling a story.
In a documentary family photography session, as in life, the laughs go hand in hand with the tears, the jumping and running with the moments of calm and rest...
This is all part of family life.
It's yours and nobody else's.
And because it's not perfect, it's real.
Photography has this wonderful power:
It is the memory of a family life that materializes and lasts in time.
How it works?
What happens in the documentary family photo session?
These sessions aim to tell a story based on what makes you a family: your routines and things you like to do together. For example, meals, games, moments of relaxation, visits from grandparents, activities such as cooking, painting at home, a trip to the playground, a visit to an educational farm, a walk along the beach... What would you like to do on this day?
How long does a session take?
In documentary style, the more time there is to shoot, the more opportunities we create to capture your unique moments. More time also means more at ease. Therefore, documentary family photography sessions last 2h30, 4 hours and a full day, from waking up to bedtime for the children.
Where does the family photo shoot take place?
The session can take place at home and/or abroad. The choice is yours and, above all, the important thing is that you are comfortable.
When is the best time to do the session?
The important thing is that the family is together - which can happen at the weekend or even on vacation.
6 reasons to do a documentary family photo session
You can be yourself.
No posing, no pressure to “look good” in the picture.

You can wear whatever you want, wear your hair however you like, the house doesn't need to be in an earring... The more authentic, the better memories we'll create together. I'm there to capture your best moments.
Think you don't look good in photos?

I have years of experience photographing people and families. I believe that we are all beautiful, each in our own way.
Also, what do you think of your older photographs today?
Our perception of ourselves changes over time.
Would you like to do a family photo shoot but don't have the time?

In these sessions, I am the one who joins your day, what you need and like to do: going to the supermarket, cooking, doing homework, going to the playground, taking that walk you have in mind...
No one is left out of the photo.
5
The whole family appears in the photographs, including the “house photographer” who usually registers the moments, but who is rarely seen in the images.
The kids won't stay still?
No problem.

My aim is that the photographs reflect the unique personality of each child and their family.
These are the pictures you'll most enjoy seeing when they grow up.
Time passes by...

Your family is growing and changing rapidly. Let's create the memories of now.
Later you will love to review the photos!
There are no perfect people, families, or lives.
But where there is love, there is beauty.
How would you like to have your photographs?
Taking the photographs is just one part of the process. After the photo session, there is post-production work, which includes a rigorous selection of the best photographs and image treatment.
From this work, you can choose to have your photographs in several ways:
In digital format
You can opt for a personalized pendrive, save them in the cloud or on an external disk. I keep your photos for at least one year. However, I recommend having two backups of your own to avoid loss.
Short video story
It is an audiovisual presentation that tells the story of the photo session, accompanied by music.
Photo album
The most classic and best way to tell your family's story is in a book. It allows you to create a narrative and, over time, it is an object that only gains more value. It's a practical and easy way to review photos, for you and your children.
Printed photographs
You can also choose to print some of your photos to place in frames. I offer the option of fineart printing, that is, of great quality and durability over time, achieved by combining the best pigment inks and acid-free paper (which causes changes in photographs over time).
"We loved the photos. You really have the sensitivity for this :) They are beautiful!!! And we thank you so much for your good will and availability... you are amazing!"

I want to do a documentary family photo shoot, how should I do?
After a first contact and presentation of a prior quote, we arrange a meeting in person or via whatsapp (depending on your preference and availability).
This meeting serves to get to know each other and talk about how the session goes, what you expect, what you would like to do. I will ask you some questions to get to know you better as a family and to know which moments are important to you.
Then we just schedule a date to create your family memories together!
